November 2011 Meeting

The ASMNP meeting on November 10th found us gathered at the Ponderosa Bar & Grill in Mazeppa. We had good attendance. We had great appetizers (loved the shrimp cocktail), hearty soups and salad, and great homemade dessert. Once our taste buds had been tantalized and stomachs satisfied, our brains were stimulated with "Clinical Pearls":

The "pearls" were just perfect; good information, short & sweet! We were also brought up-to-date with the new ASMNP website and legislative issues.

We now can hibernate through the winter until our next meeting March 15, 2012.

Fall Kickoff 2011

September 22, 2011 The ASMNP opening event was a smashing success. The meeting was located at the beautiful Salem Glen Winery in Southwest Rochester on a sunny fall evening. Attendance was at an all time high with the addition of many new members and Nurse Practitioner students. Wine was tasted, socializing was aplenty and dues were collected. We enjoyed jazz music with a delicious appetizer buffet. Greetings were given by the 2011-2012 ASMNP board, led by our new president Dr. Marcia Britain, CNP. Multiple updates were given including plans for the upcoming years events. We are looking forward to a fun and educational year with the group.
